Colonists Strength

How did the colonist defeat the world powers?

The colonist began to gain more and more anger against the British. During the French and Indian War the British started to waste too much of the colonist money. The colonist did not want to pay back and they revolted and wanted to protect themselves without the help of the British, this was treason for the British.
When the British started many taxes that the colonist could not afford to pay, then the colonist began to revolt against the British. They were forced to remove some taxes and they kept the Tea tax which later ended badly with the Boston Tea Party, colonists threw large reserves of British tea in the Boston Harbor.
After the taxes, colonist began to boycott British goods. They started boycotting the British goods because the British forced them to use their materials only they were not allowed to purchase goods in other countries or areas.
All of these factors lead to a revolution of the colonist; they became very courageous, such as George Washington who understood how the British moved and their strategies. The colonist started to fight the British then they made the Declaration of Independence which was written by Thomas Jefferson. This independence made the colonist free and they started to fight the British and chased them out of their land.
